Spalted Maple in Resin Sika Deer Call

For a few years I have been asked to design a Sika deer calls and with some help from Sean Russell that is a big Sika deer hunter we have finally nailed it down. I build the calls one at a time including making the sound boards and cutting all the reeds then tune each one. This one is made from stabilized spalted maple burl and resin with a gun metal band engraved with my logo also done here in the shop. I have been asked to also come up with a way to make the call very quiet for the still mornings, so I did.. its a rubber plug with a small hole in the end that can be inserted and removed with little effort when you want the call to Wisper and not scream. I will make sure to include it with the call, Call comes with free lanyard, game call storage bag and of course a Nor'Easter vinyl sticker.
